He is survived by: his wife Alice Gutierrez; his daughters, Teresa Belote (Donald) of Lyons and Carolyn Rapp of Lyons; his stepdaughter Monica Mies (Chris) of South Hutchinson, KS; his brothers, Bob Boese of Whitesboro, TX and Danny Boese (Kathy) of Garnett, KS; his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Boese of Liberty, MO and Evy Boese of McPherson, KS; and his grandchildren, Derek Thompson, Sierra Thompson, Paige Arell, Gabriel Boese, Levi Belote, Alexia Boese, Marianna Boese, Nevaeh Becker, Chloe Becker and Arabella Rapp.
Memorials may be given to the The Lord's Diner, Wichita or the Green Beret Foundation in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
