She was predeceased by: her parents, Hiram Smith and Marceline Tener Smith; her stepmothers, Lily Smith and Anna Smisor-Smith; her siblings, Frank Smith, Duane Smith, Jeannine Hefley and Delores Nevil; and her granddaughter Kayla Demoret.
She is survived by: her husband John Palmgren; and her children, Christopher Alan Morrison (Christy) of Lyons, Steve Morrison (Tonya) of Whitewater, TX, John Chris Palmgren of Salina, KS, Dan Brown (Haley) of Nesbit, MS, Jennifer Demoret (Brad) of Lynchburg, VA and Cynthia Rivera (Jeremy Bilson) of Lyons. She is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren; and forty-one great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Sharon Palmgren Memorial Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
