She was predeceased by : her father John Shoemaker; her sons, Terry and Gary; her husband Melvin Douglas; and her siblings, Opal Glauser and Harold Shoemaker.

She is survived by : her daughter-in-law Lori Douglas; her grandchildren, Toby Douglas, Tessa Douglas, Taylor Douglas, Robert Douglas, Skylar Douglas and Kayla Douglas; and her siblings, Delmar Shoemaker and Judy Weber.
