He is survived by: his children, Phillip Boardman of McPherson, Susan Whipple (Mark) of El Dorado and Cristopher Boardman of El Dorado; his grandsons, Zachary Whipple, Joey Whipple and Tyler Boardman (Bree); his great grandchildren, Kyndon and Oliver; and his siblings, J. T. Boardman and Gayle Boughfman (Loren).
