Fortner (McPherson, Kansas), born in Canton, Kansas, who passed away on February 26, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brothers-in-law, Kenneth Thomas and Robert Thomas; and his sister Pauline Wilson. He is survived by: his parents, Earl B. and Inez Fortner (White); his child Sandra; his wife Joan of McPherson; his children, Ron Fortner (Charlene) of Valley Center and Sandy Alkire (Mike) of McPherson; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Wilson, Larry Thomas (Patsy), Don Thomas (Karen), Cuyahoga Falls, Judy Thomas, Canton Thomas and Heidi Thomas. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with The Jesus Film, in care of Olson's Mortuary, Canton.
