He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis S. Gayer and Gertrude May Gayer (Post); his siblings, Frederick, LaMarr and Geraldine Geiman; and his great grandchild Emeri Gayer.
He is survived by: his former wife Betty C. Barber; his wife Berniece M. Inloes (Moeller); his children, Jeffrey Gayer (Valerie) of Wichita, KS, Linda Totman (Don) of McPherson, KS and Nanci Shaw (Dennis) of McPherson, KS; his stepchildren, Roger Inloes (Terri) of Danville, CA, Douglas Inloes of North Smithfield, RI, Karen Nelson (Gary) of Lawrence, KS, Diane Levens (Joe) of Pittsburg, KS and Ellen Gray (Dan) of Basehor, KS; and his siblings, Glenn Gayer of McPherson, KS and Barbara Eberle of McPherson, KS. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
