She was predeceased by: her parents, Inez Elvira (Johnson) and Victor Waldemar Hedlund; her husband Don Murray Mitchell; her grandson John Mitchell; her siblings, Arnold, Leonard, Carl, Virgil Hedlund, Alice Burkholder and Vivian Osborn; and her daughter-in-law Jonell Mitchell.
She is survived by: her sister Betty E. Quarnstrom (Carl) of Topeka, Kansas; her grandchildren, Julie Mitchell, Ron Mitchell (Suzy), Rick Stratton (Sue-Finn), Angela Deards (Dave), Kim Johnson (Jason), Jodi Morrissey (Jason), Rebecca Vincent and David Vincent (Michelle); her great grandchildren, Keeley Greene (Nate), Jeremy Johnson, Christopher Stratton, Jimmy Stratton, Abigail Mitchell, Isabella Mitchell, Thomas Mitchell, Elizabeth Deards, Alexandria Deards, Ryan Morrissey, Catelynn Morrissey, Weston Morrissey, Owen Giles, Aria Vincent and Lyla Vincent; and her great great grandchildren, Kileigh White and Kodi Greene. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
