She was predeceased by: her parents, David Asbury and Elsie Dora Bills (Medlin); her sons, Ricky Lynn Dobbins and Buddy Lee Dobbins; her grandson Jeffery Pankratz; and her sisters, Eva Sutton, Anna Hassinger and Ruby Temple.
She is survived by: her spouse John Lewis Emerson; her children, Tod Emerson (Angie) of McPherson, Bob Dobbins (Jennifer) of Grand Island, Sharon Pankratz of McPherson and Iona Likins of McPherson, Kansas; and her sister Bonnie Franklin of Lathrop, Missouri. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
