He is survived by: his parents, Beman Federer and Nada Federer; his sister Edna Miller of Yucaipa; his grandsons, Del Rhodes and Richard Rhodes; his nephews, Rick Boyd and Don Miller; his cousins, Janet Shonebarger and Betty Lou Buchsieb; and his spouse Ada Boyd. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren.
