It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris June Sawyers (Meade, Kansas), born in Protection, Kansas, who passed away on February 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Francis and Geneva Lavell Scovell (Morlan); her husband Walter Ralph Sawyers, Jr.; and her brother Lloyd Dewayne Sawyers. She is survived by: her sons, Terry Gene Sawyers of Lyons and Jimmie Lee Sawyers of Chandler, Arizona. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
