She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Fred Franklin and Sylvia Mae Keltner Ford; her former life partner James Andrew Evans; her children, Jolene, Richard Douglas (Laura) of Jefferson, CO., Rodney Marc, Stephanie Moore (Bill) of Asheville, NC, Shane Smutz (Bryn), Darcey Evans and Tagan Evans of Topeka; her great grandchild Abbey Rubottom; her siblings, Clarence Milton Ford, Garnet Mae Perkins (Ford), Vada Pauline Gruber (Ford) and Ruby Naomi Collier (Ford); her husband Clyde Maurice Ellis; and her children, Bill Ellis (Stasia) of Aurora, CO, Debbie Barngrover (Jerry) of Wichita and Sue Byers (Larry) of Wichita. She was also cherished by 8 great-grandchildren, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.

The family would welcome memorials to the Beam Senior Center or the United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
