He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob E. Loewen and Lena F. Loewen (Friesen); his wives, Margaret Reimer, Ruth D. Regier and Elizabeth; his sons, Dwight Loewen and Gordon Loewen; and his siblings, Henry F. Loewen (Lena), Elizabeth Classen (Will) and Bertha Classen (George).
He is survived by: his daughters, Rosina Fast (Cliff) of York, Eileen Collins (JR) of Dodge City and Stella Brown (Joe) of Tallahassee, Florida; his stepchildren, Jim Isaac (Carol) of Omaha, Nebraska, Carla Stucky (Lynn) of Pretty Prairie, Valerie Badgett (Ross) of Palestine and Janice Camera (Tony) of Amherst, Ohio; and his daughters-in-law, Jeanette Loewen of Dodge City and Cindy Heady of Kansas City, Kansas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; eleven step-grandchildren; and eight step-great-grandchildren.
