It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret R. Bartel (Meade, Kansas), who passed away on May 17, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob J. Bartel and Elizabeth Rempel Bartel (Lizzie); her husband Bernhard B. Reimer (B. B.); and her siblings, Pete, Andy, Martin, Albert Bartel, Mary Reimer, Kathryn Patton and Elizabeth Bitikofer.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Reimer (Lorie) of Kansas City, Calvin Reimer (Kathryn) of Vienna, Virginia, Elaine Reimer of Wethersfield, Mary Wright (Tim) of Warminister and Arla Reimer of Universal City, Texas; her sisters, Bertha Sieffert of Topeka and Esther Whiteman of Andover, Kansas; her grandchildren, Bill Reimer of Grovetown, John Parriott, Steve Parriott of Bonner Springs, Jennifer Parriott of Kansas City, Andrea Groth of Hiawatha, Luke Holmes of Manhattan, Rachel Perez of Lititz, Nathan Wright of Ibague, Brian Wright of Macungie, Dan Wright of Boyertown, Grady Dyck, Reiner Dyck of Universal City, Matthew Dyck of Beltsville, Seth Reimer of Vienna, Virginia, Julia Reimer of Vienna, Virginia and Coby Reimer of Vienna, Virginia; and her great grandchildren, Destry Groth, Kayden Groth of Hiawatha, Miles Wright of Macungie, Rett Reimer, Corbin Reimer of Grovetown, Kayla Lanelle and Wyatt Lanelle of Bonner Springs.
In lieu of flowers the family would welcome memorials to the Emmanuel Mennonite Church Special Missions Project Fund in care of the funeral home.
