He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwaine Shinliver and Thelma Shinliver; and his brothers, Danny and Randy Shinliver. He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae Loewenstein; his children, Tonya Hekel (Greg) of Anthony, KS, Denise Marsh (Jeff) of Medicine Lodge, KS, Jeremy Shinliver (Sherry) of Celina, TX and Chris Shinliver (Megan) of Medicine Lodge, KS; his grandchildren, Bailee (Gage), Jaylee, Jaren, Emery, Grant, Avery, Creed, Zoey and Leo; his great grandchild Myla; and his siblings, Dennis Shinliver (Shirley) of Argonia, KS, Gary Shinliver (Marilyn) of Wichita, KS, Sanka Hornecker (Gerry) of Holts Summit, MO, Cheryl Donelan (Dave) of Wichita, KS and Shirlene Shinliver of Nashville, KS.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Larrison Funeral Home (120 E Lincoln Ave, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Christian Church (300 S Main St, Medicine Lodge, KS 67104). A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Liberty Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the FCC Family Life Center Kitchen and mailed to the funeral home.
