He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd E. Jones and Blanche E. Jones (Barnett); and his siblings, Melvin, Robert, Ray Jones and Norma Watters.
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jones of Milan, KS; his children, Boyd Jones, Jr. (Linda) of Milton, KS, Jeannine Russell (Patrick) of Wichita, KS and Jennifer Morris (Bill) of Maize, KS; and his stepchildren, Traci Reames of Broken Arrow, OK and Todd Glover of The Woodlands, TX. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial has been established with the American Legion Tom Schwinn Post #90 in lieu of flowers.
