He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Pruter and Yvonne Pruter (Goad). He is survived by: his wife Betty Zweifel; and his children, Gale (Teresa), Daryl (Lisa), Douglas (Dina) and Kevin. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and very good friends.
Memorials may be given to the Natoma Public Library or Pohlman Heritage Museum and sent in care of the mortuary at 610 N. Maple St. Russell, Kansas 67665.
