He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George Cowan of Washington and Doris Jeanette Cowan (Horton); his spouse Halloween (Phyllis Joan Hayes); his children, Elizabeth Cowan of Topeka, KS. and Mike Cowan (Kitty) of Edna; his granddaughter Sarah Luna of Tulsa, OK.; his great grandchildren, Avery Luna, Amelia Luna, Madalyn Luna, Tyler John Cowan (TJ), Kennedy Hall, Leo Meeker, Layla Meeker and Avelynn Newberry; his sister Nelva Jo Callarman; his significant other Phyllis Joan Cowan (Hayes); and his sons, John Cowan Jr. and George Cowan.
