It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene P. Schmidt (Newton, Kansas), who passed away on March 7, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Jacob W. Goertz and Marie Goertz (Schroeder); and her spouse Eldon M. Schmidt. She was also cherished by her parents, husband, one brother and two sisters.
