It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Newlin (Newton, Kansas), born in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on February 4, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Hester and Hazel Hester (Bringham); her son Brian Scott Young; and her siblings, Rick Hester and Fern Vickors.
She is survived by: her former husband Joe Young, Jr.; her friend Hazel Richter; her husband Randy Newlin; her children, Kelly Young (Kellie), Jeanne Kunert (Loren), Matthew Newlin (Michelle), Leanne Newlin, John "Crid" Newlin and Josh Newlin (Nichole); and her sisters, Lois Drake (Bob) and Jeanie Flaming. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Joy's name may be made to the Newton Christian Church.
