She was predeceased by : her parents, William Hesser (Bill) and Dorthy Hesser (Seifert); and her former life partner Kenneth. She is survived by : her husband Jack Vermillion; her daughters, Shelly Tritt (Mike) and Shelia Martinez (Cuba); and her sister Barbara Roberts (Robert). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Newton and left in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
