He is survived by: his wife Joan Purkey; his son Stacy Pippitt of Burden, Kansas; his sister Becky Shumard (John) of Maize, Kansas; his stepchildren, Mark Lofland (Rachael) of Moscow Mills, Missouri and Susan Katzenmeier of Arcadia, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Cody, Shay, Allie and Jace; and his stepgrandsons, Lucas, Jake, Brendan and Jarrod. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
