He is survived by: his wife Janette Butler; his children, Steven Ryan, Nicole Ryan, Jennifer Brady (Matthew), Janice Garcia (Jessy) and Krystal Lieby (Tyler); and his sisters, Kathleen M. Nottell (John) and Patricia Keenan (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Petersen Family Funeral Home (215 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Legion Post#2 or Good Shepard Hospice Care and left in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
