He was predeceased by: his parents, Don L. Trostle and Ethel Lenore Trostle (Webb); and his sister Donna Nystrom. He is survived by: his wife Mary Herbstreith; his children, Melody Smith and Steve Trostle; his grandchildren, Michael Bascom, Cody Smith and Kayla Smith; his great grandchildren, Logan Smith, Savannah Smith and Gabe Ferguson; his brother Keith; and his brothers-in-law, Bill, Jerry and Dale.
