He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Brungardt and Twona Brungardt (Zerr); his brother Robert; his uncles, Van and Edwin Brungardt; his aunt Gaye Zerr; his brother-in-law Tim Mong; and also Bill Frerichs.
He is survived by: his siblings, Curtis Brungardt, Marilyn Mong and Donna Tuttle (Leon); and his uncle Kenny Brungardt. He is also survived by nephews and nieces, cousins.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Oakley (422 E 6th St, Oakley, KS 67748). A burial was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery- Grinnell (308 Monroe St, Grinnell, KS 67738).
