She was predeceased by : her parents, John D. Schuman and Theodora E. Schuman (Vawter). She is survived by : her former life partner Francis Baker; her husband Preston Merriman; her daughter Melissa Baker of Beattie, KS; and her sisters, Janet Hutchins (Paul) of Anderson, MO and Donna Hall (Jack) of Raton, NM. She is also survived by 2 nieces, 5 nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins.
