He is survived by : his sons, Mitchell James (Keri) and Jesse Wade (Elizabeth); his wife Anna Meis; his granddaughters, Amiah, Natalee and Abigail; and his siblings, Renee Eilts (Keith) of Hays, KS, Evelyn Morton (Robert) of Norman, OK, Noreen Lozano of Panama City, FL, Beth Dahelite (Jack) of Phoenix, AZ, Anita Meis of St. Joseph, MO, Timothy Meis (Tresa) of Raytown, MO and Edward Meis of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
