With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Gibson (Olathe, Kansas), born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on July 8, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Bud Gibson, Bob Gibson, Wes Gibson, Mary Meints and Kate Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Gibson; his children, Becky Vogt (Lou) of Warsaw, Reece (Paula) of Gardner and Don (Haylie); his grandchildren, Louie, Jacquelyhn, Katherine, Britney, Patrick, Luc, Nick, Andria, Aaron, Mikayla, Nolan and Link; his great grandchildren, Madison of Gavin, LJ, Maxwell, Lennox, Jaxson, Madi, Anora, Gianna and Raelynn; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Gibson, Janelle Gibson and Irene Gibson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Heart Association in memory of "Hoot Gibson" He began and ended each day with Thanks to God for his many blessings.
