She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Dugger and Inez Dugger (Bowin); and her sister Zona Kaye McKenzie (Ronald V. Persinger). She is survived by : her children, Carol Tomson (Chris) of Manhattan, Cheryl Wright of Topeka and Todd VanSchaick (Traci) of Topeka. She is also survived by her ten grandchildren and her five great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can also be made to the Salt Creek Lighthouse Assembly of God in Charlene's name.
