He was predeceased by : his parents, Melvern Abendroth and Laurene Agnus Abendroth (Peters); and his brother Gary Abendroth. He is survived by : his wife Norma Jean Hursh; his sons, Jared Abendroth (Michelle) of Carbondale and Justin Abendroth (Christie); his siblings, Pat Halfman (Don) of Kansas City, Missouri and Paul Abendroth (Judy) of Burlington, Kansas; his half-siblings, Irene Busbee of Kansas City, Missouri and Bob Williams (June) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jessica Colglazier (Garrett) of Holton, Samantha Abendroth of Carbondale, Chloe Abendroth of West Bloomfield, David Abendroth of West Bloomfield and Tyler Abendroth of Houston; and his great grandchildren, Bennett Colglazier of Holton and Callahan Colglazier of Holton.
