It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Gast (Oskaloosa, Kansas), born in McLouth, Kansas, who passed away on October 28, 2023, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Grover Cleo and Norma Jean Glaspie Guffey; her daughter Jamie Marie Mullins; her grandson Dillon Mullins; and her siblings, Mary Guffey, Grover C. Guffey, Jr., Melvin Guffey and John Guffey.

She is survived by : her husband Karl Joseph Gast; her daughters, Tammy Lynn Hybskmann (Cliff) and Becky Mullins; and her brother Richard Guffey. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
