It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kay (Heston) Pentlin of Oskaloosa, Kansas, born in Winchester, Kansas, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, David Heston and LaVerne Siefert Heston; her husband George Richard Pentlin; and her siblings, Art Heston, Ronald Heston and Maxine Buttram.

She is survived by : her daughters, Michelle Pentlin, Theresa Alexander (Jeremy) and Melissa Schmidt; her siblings, Joe Heston (Sharon), Dale Heston (Jerry), Roy Heston (Marjorie), Duane Heston (Linda), John Heston (Delia), Rhonda Robbins (George) of Oskaloosa and Gaylene Heston of Oskaloosa; and her grandsons, Brandon Pentlin, Logan Alexander, Landon Alexander and Keaton Schmidt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
