He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen; his son Douglas Gerisch; his parents, Charles and Kathrine; and his siblings, Ed Gerisch, Ester Moore and Loretta Martin.
He is survived by: his daughter Karla Gerisch; his grandsons, Neil Gerisch, Keith Gerisch and Nathan Gerisch; and his great grandchildren, Athena Gerisch and Selene Gerisch.
