He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Kennedy O'Neill and Bernard Vincent O'Neill, Sr.; his wife Marion Welch O'Neill; his siblings, Thomas, Edward, John, Michael, Charles O'Neill and Alice O'Neill; and his nephew Kevin O'Neill.

He is survived by: his children, Patrick Flynn O'Neill (Ruth) of Concord, CA, Marie Sylvia O'Neill (Daniel Zahn) of Ann Arbor, MI and Catherine O'Neill Goodbred (Steven) of Brentwood, TN.; his grandchildren, Colin Goodbred, Liam O'Neill (Madeline), Matthew Goodbred, Brendan Goodbred, Audrey Zahn and Declan O'Neill (Kenedi); his great grandchildren, Judah O'Neill and Noah O'Neill; his brother Kevin Vincent O'Neill (Paula) of Campbell, CA; his siblings-in-law, Frances Neary O'Neill, Sylvia Welch and Michael Welch; his niece Danielle Nekimken (Kyle); his nephews, Brian O'Neill (Alexandra) and John O'Neill; and his great-nephew Braden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
