It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ethel Joan Dixon of Overland Park, Kansas, born in Liberty, Missouri, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Joseph Hughes and Ethel Belle Hughes; and her brother Bill Hughes. She is survived by : her husband George Dixon; her sons, Roger Dixon and Morgan Dixon (Robin Dixon); her grandson Scott Dixon (Mikayla Dixon); and her great grandchildren, Brady and Charlotte.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to City Union Mission; 1100 East 11th Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64106.
