She was predeceased by : her parents, James Jeffries and Elinor Jeffries. She is survived by : her son Neil Fischer (Erin); her grandsons, Jake Fischer and Lincoln Benson; her daughter Laurie Small (Tim); and her grandchildren, James, Alexander and Jacqueline Small.

She taught home economics and made contributions to cook books for colleges, private companies, and for charity.
