She was predeceased by: her parents, George Weiden and June Weiden; her niece Jill Bombeck; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Luecke. She is survived by: her son Edward (Kelly); her granddaughter Sophie; her sister Judith Luecke; her niece Jennifer Blankenship; her sister Mary Ruth Decker; her brother-in-law Rick; her nephew Matthew; and her niece Jana.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210).
In lieu of flowers, it was Jean Marie's wish that donations be made to ASPCA (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals).
