She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Bechtel and Rose Bechtel (Wanstrath); her brother Ted Bechtel; her son Drew; and her grandson Josh.
She is survived by: her brother Bob Bechtel; and her children, Eric Wankum, Bruce Wankum (Marie) and Lisa Cecil. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Queen of the Holy Rosary (7023 W 71st St, Overland Park, KS 66204).
