It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Earl Cessna Jr. of Overland Park, Kansas, who passed away on July 8, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gladys D. Cessna (Rupard) and John Earl Cessna Sr.; and his wife Joyce Siminis. He is survived by : his siblings, James Cessna (Lori) of Lawrence, Kansas and Joan Wollenberg of Independence, Missouri; his siblings-in-law, Amelia Jensen, Carol Denes, Nancy Offerman (Ken) and Richard Siminis; and his friends, Mark, Kristi Freeman and Fritz Kramer. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Memorial Contributions In liew of flowers, donations may be made to St. jude's Children's Research Hospital, Wayside Waifs, or Paseo Academy (central High School) was John's alma mater.
