She was predeceased by: her parents, Winston Morehead and Margaret Morehead (Regenold); her former spouse Kipton Smutz; her daughter Angela; and her stepson Benjamin Link.
She is survived by: her husband Tim Link of Overland Park; her son Todd Smutz of Iowa City, Iowa; her stepdaughter Sarah Link Ferguson of Overland Park; her grandchildren, Richard, Lillian, Clara Smutz and Eliana Ferguson; and her brother William Morehead of Osage City, KS..
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062). A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care or Operation Breakthrough (KCMO).
