She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Lyle Cowdin and Hazel Marie Cowdin (Lockwood); her husbands, Robert Garrett (Robert Garrett) and Gordon Fales; and her brother Dwayne Cowdin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandra Griffiths (David) of Overland Park, KS and Maria Dye (John) of Athens, GA; and her siblings, Kathy Lee of Ottawa, KS and Roger Cowdin (JoAnn) of Oregon. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and many extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lamb-Roberts-Price Funeral Home (325 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067). The inurnment will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at the Highland Cemetery (1050 E 15th St, Ottawa, KS 66067).
