She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schmitz and Alice Schmitz; and her husband Henry Strobl (Hank). She is survived by: her siblings, Mary, Frank, Bernard, Betty, Vincent, Dorothy and Bob; her children, John (Diana), Janet Colborne (Bruce), Jim (Melissa) and Jeff (Robin); her grandchildren, Jacqueline (Daniel), John Michael (Alyssa), Jennifer (Taylor), Janelle (Marcus), Shannon (Nick), Matthew and Anna; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Damien, Adeline, Jacob, Oliva, Ember and Brooklin. She is also survived by her extended family, including numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Little Sisters of the Poor (http://www.littlesistersofthepoorkansascity.org) or Catholic Community Hospice in Margie's memory, as her family was immensely grateful for the compassionate end-of-life care provided by both.
