He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Leslie Wainscott and Cordia B. King (Corda Bruner); his stepfather Otto King; and his siblings, Raymond Max Wainscott, Marjorie Harbert and Bonne Boyle.
He is survived by: his sister Eula Wainscott; his sister-in-law Judy Saunders (Dwight); his daughters, Cindy Kuhn (Vern), Dorothy Joan Luttrell, Judy and Terri Hughes; his granddaughter Lisa Wainscott; his great grandchildren, Max Wainscott and Jeffrey Wainscott (Tamara); and his children, Micki Criqui (Michaelene), Lisa, Max and Jeff. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Johnson County Funeral Chapel (11200 Metcalf Ave, Overland Park, KS 66210). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to either Spring Hill Care and Rehabilitation Center (Spring Hill, KS) or Faith Hospice (Overland Park, KS) in memory of Dale Wainscott.
