The passing of Theo Jeannine Shirley Hunter of Overland Park, Kansas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on June 3, 2025 at the age of 96. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Theodore Shirley and Amelia Matthias Shirley; her brother Buddy Shirley; and her husband Harold Gene Hunter. She is survived by: her sons, Terry Hunter (Jancy) of Overland Park, Tim Hunter of Overland Park and James Hunter (Susan) of Overland Park; her grandchildren, Ian, Kali, Chris and Jake; and her great grandchildren, Thea and Emmalyn.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Barnett Family Funeral Home (1220 Walnut St, Oskaloosa, KS 66066). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Catholic Community Hospice.
