He was predeceased by : his parents, William E. McHale and Myrtle McHale; and his sister Shirley Brunk. He is survived by : his wife Joan McHale; his children, Michael "Mickey" McHale (Amy), Mary Morris (Evan) and Meredith "Kelly" Clark (Zach); his grandchildren, Stephen "Blake" McHale (Marissa), Suzanna "Brooke" McHale, Mya Nolen, Hunter Morris, Quincy Nolen, Jerzey Clark and Phoebe Morris; and his great grandchild Nolan McHale.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas in memory of Bill McHale at 12615 Parallel Parkway, Kansas City, KS 66109.
