She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Merritt and Ella Mildred Fulton Rice; her husband Philip Eugene Swaggerty; her children, David E. Swaggerty and Lori Wellman; her granddaughter Nicole Fisher; and her brothers, Donald C. Rice and Glen A. Rice.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Swaggerty (Charlotte), Robert Swaggerty (Marlene), Perry, Dennis Swaggerty (Gloria) and Sherri Johnson (Larry Epke); her siblings, Bill Rice (Linda) and Jane Jacobus (Pete) of Glenwood, IA; and her grandchildren, Brandi Woodson (Kevin), Deanna Hutsen (Shiloh), Cristi Beyer (Chane), Luke Johnson (Cassie), Philip Swaggerty, Brandon Swaggerty (Emily), Ashlei Babcock (Chris), Aaron Swaggerty (Kaci), Tyler, Landon Swaggerty (Sandi Simms), Caleb Krum (Marisa), Danielle Howe (Danniel) and Christopher Wellman (Jessica). She is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren.
