It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Muriel Frances Fix of Phillipsburg, Kansas, who passed away on January 8, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bruning and Velma Bruning (Coffin); her husband Russell Fix; her son Duane; her siblings, Ruby Earl, Vera Zimbleman, Leota Daily and Dean Bruning; and her niece Margie Elliott.

She is survived by: her nephews, Gene Earl (Fran) of Phillipsburg, KS, Gary Earl (Robin) of Nashville, TN, William Bruning (Stephanie) of Benton, AR, Curtis Bruning (Angi) of Ellijay, GA and Troy Bruning (Maurica) of Olathe, KS; her niece Jeanette Thompson (Darrell) of Cherryvale, KS; and her sister-in-law Connie Bruning of Benton, AR.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson Cancer Research Center or First Christian Church.
