It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lila Louise Wunderlich of Piedmont, Kansas, who passed away on July 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Roger and Opal Meisch (Brown); her husband James William Wunderlich; her sons, Randy Wells and Lynn Wells; her granddaughter Kristy; her grandson-in-law Gary Chamberlain; and her siblings, Bud Meisch, W. F. Meisch, Sally Barnaby and Dorothy Disney.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Baumgartel (Roger) of Emporia, Becky Courter of Piedmont and Annette Wells of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Michelle Weber (Kevin) of Howard, Melissa Headley (Jeremy) of El Dorado, Staci Troy (Sull) of Americus, Erin Reber of Emporia and Larami Crum (Chris) of Emporia; her great grandchildren, Faith, Tanner, Colter, Reagan, Storme, Jace, Kylee, Abbie, Gerek, Greyson, Gunner, Jake, Dakota, Carson and Canon; her great great grandchildren, Maudie, Corbin, Josias, Autumn, Baker, Hayden, Aidan and Adrian; and her brothers, Frank Meisch (Lynda) of Chanute and Roland Meisch (Leisa) of Howard.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM.
Memorial Contributions be made out to the Lila Wunderlich Grandchildren Scholarship, left in care of the Dunsford Funeral Home.
