With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ami Pierce of Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on January 25, 2022 at the age of 35. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her parents, Tadashi Oyamada and Hitomi Oyamada (Watanabe); her son Benjamin Hajime Pierce; her husband Danny Pierce; her brother Shimpei Oyamada (Naomi); her siblings' child Rippei; her sister Mai Kobayashi (Katsuya); her siblings' children, Dan of Tokyo and Tana of Tokyo; her brother-in-law Dwight Pierce (Amber); her siblings' children, Cody, Casey and Marshell; her sister-in-law Charlene Strong (Dustin); her parents-in-law, Charley and Carol Pierce; her son Nate (Elizabeth Marti); her grandchildren, Isaac, Mirriam, Austin Marti, Adam and Autumn Reynolds; her daughters, Nora, Olive, Tillie and Katie Umphenour; her grandchildren, Mollie and Quentin; and also, Bobby Pierce (Angela) and Alexander.
