With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Louise Whitten (Pittsburg, Kansas), born in Guthrie, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 19, 2019 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wilson and Pearl Wilson; and her son Reid Whitten. She is survived by: her spouse Robert Whitten; her daughter Laurie Johnson of Mesa; her son-in-law Mike Johnson; her grandson Craig Johnson; her sister Georgia Pettijohn; her brother-in-law Leon Pettijohn; and her nephews, Trent and Brad Pettijohn. She is also survived by five great nieces.
