She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Lauber and Neva Lauber (Brown); and her brother Richard Dale Lauber. She is survived by: her husband Earl Dean Ward; her children, Phillip Dean Ward (Cara) of Frontenac, KS and Sharon Lynn Hilton (Aaron) of Aurora, MO; her sister-in-law Marjie Lauber of Ft. Scott, KS; her grandchildren, Adam Ward, Kimberly King (Ben), Baylee Hardimon (Trey) and Devon Hilton (Jordan); and her stepgrandchildren, Mathew Hilton (Jessica), Victoria Erickson (John), Garett Gebhardt, Bailey Humbard (Brandon) and Jordan Gebhardt. She is also survived by five great grandchildren and twenty step great grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be given to the First United Methodist Church Organ Fund, PSU Endowment for Excellence in Athletics and Wesley House.
